No News Is Good News

Obviously I haven't posted in a while. This is for many reasons a few of them being-
1. I lost our camera over he summer (and I don't have anything else to post about unless they contain pictures of harper...so no postings)
2. We recently moved to the SLC and I have spent most of my time unpacking or taking care of a sick child (He has been sick 3 out of the 4 weeks that we have been here. I blame it on the extreme increase in which Harper has been interacting with new friends/cousins/others getting out of the house before it is too cold. He is really loving all these new friends, I on the other hand, not so much)
3. My mother let me borrow her old camera but I can't seem to find the chord to transfer all our pictures (hopefully it is in one of our many boxes still left unopened)

I do want to share previews for two movies that I am so excited to see this holiday season.

If you watched  Oprah today you would have seen the first movie--"NINE", I saw the preview and thought immediately that I would love this movie. Great cast, a musical,  I am excited.

The next movie I want to see is "Fantastic Mr. Fox". I love Roald Dahl, this movie looks so unique and original, there are so many great people doing the voices of the characters. It has to be good!!  FANTASTIC MR. FOX - Official Theatrical Trailer

Summer 2009

We have had the funnest summer of our lives!!! Harper and I have been traveling almost non-stop and loving it, Keler joins us when he can. I will mostly just post pictures of all our trips....beware, there are a TON!!

We have been to visit the Soffe's new beach house in Mexico a few times. Both times it was a little chilly so we didn't get into the water but enjoyed playing in the beach.

some DVD time on the rocker
eating sandy Cheetos
castles with Grandma

We have also been in SLC for multiple weeks spending time with cousins and grandparents. I love being there, Harper is so entertained and happy ALL of the time.

frosting...mmm!
Grandma Cathie and Grandpa Scott have so many fun things to do in their backyard. I wish I lived there!!

We were also in SLC for the fourth of July and attended the Evergreen parade. It took Harper a little while to warm up to the loud sirens but as soon as he figured out candy was being thrown at him he didn't care.

We also went to the Petting Zoo at Gardner Village with cousins from both sides of the family. All the kids were able to ride the ponies and there were even little baby pigs to pet. Fun Day!!

Per Macy's Request...a new post

San Diego Trip
We went to San Diego a few weeks ago for our family vacation/Keler's work trip. I LOVED where we stayed, it was right by the airport on a dock. The weather was beautiful and my Mom, Dad, and Spencer were there for a few days as well.

Zoo
We went to the San Diego Zoo!! We were only there a few hours because Harper was tired and grumpy but we really had a good time.

This is Harper's favorite new "face", he does it while saying "No!" and then pouts his lips. I was really sick of this face by the end of our trip!!

Harper has started saying "cheese" to the camera...this is a face I really love seeing!!

Harper's favorite animals at the zoo were the Otters.  He would get so excited when they swam up to the glass.

Padres Game
Petco Stadium has a little family area with bleachers and a sand box for the kids to play in. It was so kid friendly, I actually enjoyed watching the game.

My Mom, Dad, and Spencer came to the game with us.
Harper loved watching "Finding Nemo" on my dads iphone--this was especially handy at restaurants and car rides!!

Park
Every morning my mom and I would walk to this park and let Harper play. It was right on the beach and so beautiful!!

I am seriously considering buying a boat and living at this port for the rest of our lives!!!

Swimming
My  mom brought Harper some Nemo floaties and he loved to go in the hot tub and float around. (That is basically all he does in this clip--just floats--but I thought it was very exciting)

Spaghettios and hose!!!

These are just a few random pictures from today. It seems like Harper is getting to be really fun lately, maybe it is because the weather is changing and we have more outside activities to keep us occupied. Whatever it is I am liking it!!

Harper LOVES spaghettios!! This is just a picture of what he usually looks like after he is finished eating. I usually just throw him in the bath right after because if I don't I find orange hand prints hours later.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year!! On Sunday morning we woke up to some awesome Easter baskets. The Easter bunny definitely went overboard for the Harps this year but I think she was just making up for the lack of baskets last year.

Harper received a soccer ball and net (his favorite toy ever!!!), a whiffle ball and bat, an Elmo Cd Player, a cute Easter sunday outfit and "The Friend" magazine. I guess the Easter Bunny figured she needed to add a little something to remind us all of the true reason for Easter.

After opening baskets, we hurried to hunt some eggs with the cousins. This is Harpers first Easter egg hung and I think he really liked it. Thanks Gretchen and fam for the fun times!!!

Bonnie Springs/Springs Preserve

My mom, sister and nephew were in town last week, we had a really great time. The weather was a little windy while they were here but on one nice day we had soooo much fun. We went to Bonnie Springs which has the best petting zoo ever!!! And later that day we went to the free playground at the Springs Preserve which is really cool. I highly recommend both activities and will be going again and again all summer.

Petting the pig, his mouth was really gross and slimy.

This donkey was so funny, he would hold his mouth open and let us drop the food right into his mouth!!

Springs Preserve Free Park
Harper loved this train--he played on it for the majority of the time (he can now say "Choo Choo" and chugs his hand like he is pulling a train whistle)

Izaiah's favorite part was the water table!! It was clogged and over flowing but they loved it anyway.
There are multiple sad pits throughout the park/Harper loved throwing it
